My name is Cory, and I am currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Washington & Lee University. My current research interests are in classical commutative algebra, with a focus on Noetherian spectra, and how that connects to other areas. I am also developing interests in number theory, algebraic geometry, and topology. Beyond that, I am also quite concerned with increasing and retaining diversity in STEM, and how classrooms can be remodeled to better fit an increasingly diverse population of young mathematicians, scientists, and engineers.

Non-academic interests include following national politics, flight simulation, and travel.
